How can we interrupt the feedback loop of mainstream narratives that allows only one voice to create and define culture moving forward?

We disrupt this cycle through educational programming and consulting

Educational programming

Recognizing the need for safe and representative educational spaces for trans youth, we’ve designed a college-level writing program mentored by leading queer and trans academics and creatives.

Transchool

Inspired by the letters written to @transanta, this summer course for young trans writers offers college-level instruction and mentorship.

Support Trans Voices

We commissioned queer artists to design affirming messages for trans youth in public installations.

Transchool: Volume 1

The first Transchool anthology, this compilation of original writings by our 2023 Transchool cohort and their mentors is published by Co–Conspirator Press.

LGBTQ+ young people who report the presence of trusted adults in their school have higher levels of self-esteem (Dessel et al., 2017) and access to supportive peers is protective against anxiety and depression, including among those who lack support from their family (Parra et al., 2018).

The Trevor Project’s research consistently finds that LGBTQ+ young people report lower rates of attempting suicide when they have access to LGBTQ+-affirming spaces.

Consulting

We work with international corporations, small businesses, creative studios and schools to better serve their employees, customers, and audiences through expert-led training, events, and interventions.
